Savannah Stage Company presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast tells the story of a cold-blooded prince who has been magically transformed into an unsightly creature as punishment for his selfish ways. To revert into his true human form, the Beast must first learn to love a bright, beautiful young woman named Belle, whom he has imprisoned in his enchanted castle, before it is too late.

For their 3rd show the 2019 Season of Bravery, SSC will present a tale as old as time, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, in the Performance Space at Service Brewing. This family friendly musical has music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton. Adapted from Walt Disney Pictures’ Academy Award-winning 1991 animated musical film of the same name.

Savannah Stage Company is proud to introduce their newest and bravest venture in bringing accessible theatre to the Low Country – PAY WHAT IT’S WORTH. For the Sunday November 17th 6pm evening performance, there will be no traditional tickets sold before hand. Audiences are invited to see the show without purchasing a ticket in advance. Following the performance, they will have the opportunity to pay what they feel the production was worth. All seats are first come first serve – cash, check, or Venmo, CashApp, and PayPal will be accepted for this performance. As always, all performances are PAY WHAT YOU CAN.
