Two rebellions against the Kingdom of Scotland are swiftly dispatched by the fearsome soldiers Macbeth and Banquo. The two heroes’ lives are turned upside down by the appearance of three other-worldly witches, who promise greatness in their futures. Provoked and prodded by his own ambition and his ruthless wife, Macbeth murders his way to the Scottish throne. That is only the beginning of the bloodshed as the Macbeths struggle to hold their grip on the crown, their lives, and their minds. MACBETH is William Shakespeare’s timeless story of ambition, madness, and corruption in a kingdom under siege. Witchcraft, ghostly apparitions, and prophecies abound!

After nine shows of consecutive decades, we’re sending this horror-tragedy hurdling through space in an homage to all things sci-fi. Supernatural beings, an evil empire, and battles between light and dark make MACBETH the perfect space opera. Come along, far far away, into a pit of madness.

As our tenth and final show in our Decades Cycle, we are celebrating by offering this show for FREE ADMISSION. This is a continuation of our mission to make Shakespeare accessible for all, both in our presentation and, now, in what we ask of our guests. We are so excited for this new opportunity for us and the Savannah theatre-going community.

All shows will take place at Savannah Repertory Theatre at 980 Industry Drive, Savannah, GA, 31415.

HOW MUCH?
Free of charge. Concessions will be sold during all performances.

HOW DO I RESERVE A SEAT?
We will be taking a certain amount of reservations per performance. Seating will be very limited and we expect reservations to fill up fast so don’t hesitate and be left out in the cold expanse of space.
